New Profile’s Counseling Network

We believe that each individual has the right to choose whether or not to serve in the military. Therefore, New Profile’s Counseling Network supports any person who independently chooses to avoid or discontinue military service, or feels he or she cannot serve, for any reason. Consisting of a network coordinator, legal coordinator, and group of trained volunteers, the Network supports around 1,000 people annually, with thousands more benefiting from the information we distribute online.

The Network’s volunteers are familiar with the various exemption procedures and with the bureaucracy they entail, and many of them were exempted from service themselves. They provide free personal and continuous support to each applicant (including parents), including information on exemption procedures, availability throughout each step of the process, and moral support. In case of need we also provide free legal counseling.
